Creative Endeavors

I call this faux art . . . What I do when I’ve had too much to drink . . .
We used a projector & old HOUSE PAINT.  Apologies to the copyright holders.

copy of Millet's "The Gleaners"

another copy of Millet's "The Gleaners"   copy of Picasso's "Women at the Well"

"The Gleaners" by Jean Franηois Millet — my favorite painting, I did it twice (top and left photos)  Yard cut outs coming soon . . .
"Women at the Well" by Pablo Picasso — my 1st ‘copy’ (right photo).

copy of van Gogh's "Peach Blossoms in the Crau"

"Peach Blossoms in the Crau", by Vincent van Gogh.  It's not easy projecting a square painting onto a long rectangular fence . . .  This painting is instantly recognizable for its blossoms & sky, both of which had to be cropped off.

Simpsons / Dali

Simpsons/Dali.  I found this on the internet looking for an image from the episode / planet of the apes(Homer's).

New Yorker Bathroom project

This was one of my all time favorite projects.  I wallpapered a client's collection of "New Yorker" magazine covers onto the walls and used a Lincrusta & Anaglypta type of wallpaper for the wainscoting.

Yellow Brick Road project

This completely faux finish was painted on a very old wood floor.

Tucson door, outside view   Tucson door, inside view

Entry door painted inside and out.  Outside with an elegant two-toned color scheme. Inside with a distressed weathered faux finish that complements the foyer.
