Creative EndeavorsI call this faux art . . . What I do when Ive had too much to drink . . . We used a projector & old HOUSE PAINT. Apologies to the copyright holders.
"The Gleaners" by Jean Franηois Millet my favorite painting, I did it twice (top and left photos) Yard cut outs coming soon . . . "Women at the Well" by Pablo Picasso my 1st copy (right photo).
"Peach Blossoms in the Crau", by Vincent van Gogh. It's not easy projecting a square painting onto a long rectangular fence . . . This painting is instantly recognizable for its blossoms & sky, both of which had to be cropped off.
Simpsons/Dali. I found this on the internet looking for an image from the episode / planet of the apes(Homer's).
This was one of my all time favorite projects. I wallpapered a client's collection of "New Yorker" magazine covers onto the walls and used a Lincrusta & Anaglypta type of wallpaper for the wainscoting.
This completely faux finish was painted on a very old wood floor. Entry door painted inside and out. Outside with an elegant two-toned color scheme. Inside with a distressed weathered faux finish that complements the foyer.
