San Saba Railroad StationThis station was moved from San Saba to its current location, on Hwy 290 West in the late 80s. It houses a feed store now. At least 100 people stopped by while we were working there to ask if it was going to be a restaurant (it would have made a great one). The owner was an enthusiastic train paraphernalia collector. We worked from a large collection of pictures hed taken of numerous railroad stations. And how he thought "what was wrong" with the colors others had used. We eventually selected about a dozen colors inside and out, that was our interpretation of the original authentic colors. Located at:
